THEY’RE HERE!! THEY’RE ACTUALLY FREAKIN’ HERE!! My aunt and cousins from the U.S. of A. they’re here!! Well, technically there, cause they’re at home, and not here with me right now. But they’re no longer in the U.S.! They hopped on a plane and landed here this morning! WITHOUT TELLING ANYBODY! My grandmum’s birthday surprise! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! They planned it a month and a half back, kept it a secret for six weeks and now are here! I didn’t believe my Mum when she called up to tell me. And then I hear my brother’s voice. And then my aunt, my godmother in every sense of the word! And then my sister’s! THEY’RE HERE!
My uncle had to go pick them up, which is why he knew earlier this morning. Till then, however, he had no clue. None of us did! Except that crazy other sister of mine who arrived from the U.S. a month back. She knew and she kept her mouth shut!
Everybody in my family is joyously shocked at this! It’s the one of the best things ever! THEY’RE HERE! I’ve repeatedly said that my family is crazy – each person with their own insanely cute quirks. And this stunt just proved exactly how crazy we could possibly get!
I was having breakfast and shrieking like a banshee with pleasure and disbelief when my mum told me – so the entire cafeteria thought I was mad. And when I got on the phone with causes of all this happiness I almost cried out of joy and kept saying the word CRAZY so many times that everyone in my cubicle, my floor and half the building popped their heads out to see what was happening! AND I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE IT! BUT THEY’RE HERE! We’re all gushing with the love and bliss at this moment!
Were I going home this weekend I wouldn’t have known till I actually stepped off the train! But I’m going only next weekend, and my aunt really can’t avoid talking to my mum for that long! So they told us! THEY’RE HERE! I don’t believe I’ve gotten this excited about anything else…They travelled almost ten thousand miles without breathing a word to anybody!!!! OH MY GOD! It’s unbelievable and absolutely delightful!
I’m shocked to the core and quintessentially ecstatic. The rapture threatens to overwhelm my heart and I would like nothing better than to leave everything behind and rush home this instant, grab my aunt, brother and sister into a great big bear hug and never let go! That’s how big this is. This is family! My family! And I’m so proud of being a part of it!
