My two worded description of last night’s Champions League quarter final match of Chelsea vs. Liverpool. 4-4 (aggr 7-5). That’s 12 goals in 180+ minutes between two of the big four of English football.
Spectacular – It gives me great pride to proclaim that after being 0-2 down at half time, Chelsea bounced back amazingly. And then it was 3-4 with less than ten minutes left – aggr being 6-5; if Liverpool got one goal…then…I did not think about it. And Lampard happened!! 4-4, aggr 7-5!!
Ridiculous – What the hell happened to the defense? And Petr Cech?? OMG! He was freaking fumbling !! Not that Reina was any better, but hell! It was in all seriousness ridiculous! Mind-blowing to watch, but still ridiculous! I’m not complaining after the win and securing a semi-final against Barcelona <inner voice chants calming words – dunno what the hell that is> but 8 goals in a match? Liverpool and Chelsea? J Surreal, but nice! <I particularly liked one chant of the home crowd, went something like – ‘Riise in disguise?’ aimed at Reina> It was breathtaking. Literally. I reacted in a little more controlled manner since my Dad was leaving last night, and the whole ‘I’ll miss you till I see you again’ emotion was flying around, so I didn’t have the ability to actually scream obscenities at the television or maim furniture. I kind of sat with my mouth hanging open most of the time. And there was a rush of relief at the end of it. The away goals paid off. Chelsea won. Scary, it was. The match. Brilliant, but. I loved it. The thrill of a variety of emotions. Never a dull moment after the first 45 minutes of the match. I’ve got to find something else to do.
I was going through Rammstein collection yesterday – so kind of stick with Stibt nicht vor mir.
I like saying ‘Ich weiss nicht’ and I don’t know why!! *hehe
