<Final Ritual> Ok, I’m done with that task, and just got assigned some change requests. On both the projects I’m working on at the moment. One of them is a tool that uses MS Access. I barely have to spend time on that one
Very nice to actually fully know how to go about something rather than learn something else completely new and then dive head first into the work. With the deadlines it’s really not that appealing. I’ve decided to concentrate on ASP.net now.
Been listening to a lot of Children of Bodom and Dimmu Borgir at work…my ears have something plugged on almost the whole day, which is not a good thing. As of this moment the track just changed from Blooddrunk by CoB to Love Lockdown. Out of sync, out of beat…think it’s the first Kanye West song I’ve heard. Hmmm…
Reading a bit too. Quite a lot of processing in my head. Did I mention that I love Roy Khan’s voice?? <Elizabeth: I Mirror Mirror>
Haven’t spoken to quite a few friends in a long time, ended up forgetting my best friend’s birthday in the mess!! Gosh!! Of course she understood it, but the guilt doesn’t go away! One of those few times I got emotional! I nearly cried when I did speak to her, after two months, almost. How the hell did I not remember?? I’m a bad bad person. This shoudn’t have happened.
Wrote about three chapters, each set two years apart from the previous. Technically it covers about five years of the character’s lives. So what about the four in between? Yeah, I have an idea. My keyboard is familiar with it too. <Elizabeth: II Requiem for the Innocent>
Have been visiting the genre of historical and gothic in books. Found some really interesting ones, shall recommend and review when I don’t have colleagues peeking over my shoulder to see what work I have, or check my locked hours. Must cut down on my sugar intake. Chocolate is ok, still have three bags of Hershey’s Kisses – candy cane, and another mint filled in dark chocolate which is just heaven. <Elizabeth: III Fall From Grace>
Irving Wallace is a genius. Ann Rynd is too. Going to watch Michael Clayton, again, and want to watch The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. An absolute pleasure that Heath Ledger got an Oscar. He deserved it. Might have watched Slumdog Millionaire if there hadn’t been so much of coverage on it, now that I know the whole story there remains no reason for me to watch the movie. <Fear of the Dark>
<The Evil That Men Do>Learning the easy way how nice it is to let go of people who were around only for gain…being away from them helps, but being around them and rubbing it in their face just makes you feel more human. ![]()
