Recipe & Lucifer

Here we go. I’ve been sitting without any work for the past two weeks. It’s not nice. I admit. I find something to do to keep myself occupied from 9 to 6, but it’s still frustrating to be doing nothing!! Mist!!

Did a good deal of writing in the above side time, though. ‘ve actually had time and the resources to research and then write, which is very good and quite an achievement given my recurring dry spells for writing. End up typing pages together (of e-mail) to my cousin, aunt, uncle and friends. Oh! And I’m actually looking up recipes. Simple easy ones that I can try out!! :D Hehe!! Yes. Under the strict supervision of my mother I prepared a very simple and nice egg fried rice <by simple I really mean, simple> and by my own imagination, following my love for fruits, I made a very nice fruit-tail; and since I am very proud of it, I shall share the recipe. Another first on my blog!! Yay!!

Ingredients:

2 Kiwis

½ Pineapple

1 Apple

1 Musk melon (small)

2 Sapodillas

1 box of Strawberries

2 Bananas (medium)

Pepper

Salt

Sugar or Honey (or both)

3 teaspoons of lemon juice (pure/freshly squeezed)

1 cup of sweetened plain yoghurt

Cut up all the fruits into small pieces and place in a large bowl. Sprinkle some pepper on it, and add a pinch of salt. Add two table spoons of sugar <I don’t like things too sweet, but if you do, then add a couple extra tablespoons>, and one table spoon of honey <again, check your sweetness gauge> and place in the refrigerator for an hour. Don’t stir or disturb, just let the fruits soak together. If you want it to be a little tangy add a dash of lemon juice to it. Half an hour before you are to serve this concoction, add the yoghurt into it and gently stir the fruits. Allow them to soak again for about fifteen to thirty minutes. Serve chilled.

Oh yeah. You may use any other fruits that are available and to your liking. I tried it out only with the above. It has this delicious flavor…quite incomparable. It is a treat to the taste buds, seriously!! And if you love fruits, you HAVE to try this.

I dunno if I mentioned this, but my friends gave me a very cute devil doll. He’s red with cute hands and feet, has pink devil horns, a red trident and a cute long pointy tail, and wears white underwear and stands straight. AND he’s got this Zorro type mask, so you can just make out this pair of naughty black eyes, and this absolutely adorable button nose, and the cutest of smiles!! It reminds me so much of us!! Four of us from 12th grade!! It’s perfect!! And I call him Lucifer, Lucky for short. He’s the non-living incarnation of me. I was so caught up by him, that I decided I wanted to draw him. But I didn’t. I drew a very nice picture of Snoopy and Charlie Brown, and another of a devilish face in flames. I did use an original Schulz drawing of the former two together, and it’s come out quite nicely, considering I drew after a very long time. And the devil…hehe. He’s cool too!! Will put up scanned copies of the drawings once the scanner begins to live up to its true functionality. Oh and I love Peanuts. I think I mentioned it before, but I love Peanuts. Schulz was the master!!
