First this song then the post. The lyrics, and Roy Khan *sighs, swoons and drools*
Yes, Kamelot has always been one of my favorite bands, why I didn’t post any of their songs before I cannot explain, but here’s my redemption, hopefully. Simone Simons of Epica joins Kamelot in The Haunting (Somewhere In Time).
OMG!! How I forgot to mention this in my previous post, written last night, I do not know. It just flashed so I thought I ought to mention it.
I didn’t fully follow the ‘race to the White House’ but did watch the debates and had my opinion on which candidate should win. My brother, on the other hand, religiously followed the entire campaign following the declaration of the Democratic primaries…He rooted for Barack Obama through and through. Even when he was here over the summer this year, Obama this, Obama that, McCain this and that. He is an American citizen after all and it was quite nice to see the involvement of a kid in the presidential elections! My aunt and uncle voted for the first time since having obtained their citizenship…They all stayed up that night – but Obama secured the 270 electoral votes long before midnight and my bro e-mailed me immediately. He refrained from calling me so as not to disturb me in class. Two words. HE WON. That’s it.
I was sincerely surprised at the arguments my bro came up with <though we never said anything> for why Obama is better than Bush. He added his own analysis to the opinions of the political analysts. And he was right. That’s the best part! I remember the how upset he got when John Kerry lost out to Bush four years ago…he’s a steadfast Democrat. Right from the age of five. Always has been. Recently we also had a long drawn out conversation about the Kennedy’s, John and Robert F. He even watched the biopics with me some years previously. He takes an interest in absolutely anything that has nothing to do with his school work. He does well in that too, the straight A’s and all but he has a very good knowledge about a lot of other things <I’ve no qualms in reporting that he is the one who figured out the syntax to change the drive on C prompt.
*giggles* yeah, I didn’t know>. And what he knows doesn’t harm him, because he pays attention to the right things, saturates unwanted details and stores the rest. Investigating his behavior as a child, a baby, has lead us to believe it has something to do with his love for sea-food. Hmmm…He’s a brilliant boy. A lazy boy, but brilliant!!
Here’s one of my favorite ’songs’. Orlando Bloom is singing !!
And I looooove the bits with Aragon – the looks…*sighs*
