After a break, of seven years, I put down a ‘to-do’ list only this time it was done on One Note and then printed and stuck to the wall above my desk. I did not refer to it but needed it to be reminded of certain things that I needed to do !!
So here’s the list with the status of the activities as on 30th Aug, 2008.
1. Come the weekend, get a haircut – Done, J
2. Sign up for piano classes – considering it (as has been for over fifteen years L)
3. Stop worrying about how miserable life can get with Blank around – half way there, can’t help it at work though L
4. Consider watching The Dark Knight again at the theatre, this time in Gold Class – persuasive tactics in motion
5. Finish watching House M.D. and delete from disk or burn onto DVDs – Final four episodes of season 4 remaining, will burn not delete
6. Buy more DVD’s – Should be done…dang!
7. Re-arrange wardrobe – Hehe not even close to starting
8. Convince self and consult a surgeon for in-grown toe nail – Consulted, advised, appointment for next week fixed
9. Visit bookstore and buy more books – No problem at all, if I can get to the bookstore on a weekday before 21:00 hours
10. Download ‘The Little Mermaid’ – Four parts out of eight done
11. Complete diary! – Remains unfilled since 31st July, 2008
12. Complete James Patterson’s ‘Cat and Mouse’ AND start with Stephanie Myers – Should be possible by tomorrow evening
13. Consider the downloading of ‘Criminal Minds’ – Considering
14. Call Sandy – Done
15. Manicure – Done J
16. Find shirts and trousers that lie gathering dust…dispose them or use them – Nicely syncs with 7 so shall wait
17. Get someone to wash car and scooter – Scheduled for Sunday morning
18. Get over the loss of Def Leppard’s Songs From the Sparkle Lounge and download – Will be done after Little Mermaid
19. Pre-order The Dark Knight DVD – Done
20. Buy hair-curlers – Order placed, should receive by end of next week
21. Make a list of the songs on current playlist on iPod – Done and attached herewith because I didn’t know what to do with the list, not that I knew why I made the list

Because then I happened to find my Dad’s collection of Peanuts, the comic strip. He’d cut out the strip from newspapers and kept it safely, not because he liked it because I always loved Woodstock
and I had a Snoopy comforter !! I simply adore that comic strip !! Nothing can beat it !! So here’s a page dedicated to Peanuts, well…at least here’re some quotes from the comic strip…
