I heard this song properly for the first time two days ago, never really having paid attention to it while watching Fantastic Four (I was hooked over Johnny and Reed at that time 
). Anyway, the music and the words just stuck to me, especially the tone/tune of the song. What else can one expect when you’ve got Ben Moody lending his talent !! Yeah, he’s awesome and though I’m not a great big fan of Anastacia, I have found some of her songs addictive. ‘Everything Burns’, however, at this moment tops my list – sure enough it is on my all time favorites as well. So, here are the lyrics of the song ‘Everything Burns’ by Anastacia (featuring Ben Moody).
She sits in her corner singing herself to sleep, wrapped in all of the promises that no one seems to keep. She no longer cries to herself, no tears left to wash away, just diaries of empty pages, feelings gone astray, but she will sing…

Walking through life unnoticed, knowing that no cares, too consumed in their masquerade no one sees her there and still she sings.
And here’s the verse that it inspired in me. It’s called ‘Burning Inside’, but the title is bound to change since the poem is incomplete as of now.
