‘Tis once again that time of year when examinations are forced upon us, the jitters, the last minute frenzy, the anticipation of what might be asked, the jubilation or discontent at the end of three hours (or less). Just done with our practical exams.. Computer Networks (wherein I picked out the EASIEST program to do, again!!) and Java and CGI (which I finished in half an hour). It was brilliant. Probably the last ‘practical exams’ I will ever be doing in my life. I’m relieved and absolutely delighted!!
This entire month has been wonderful for me. Really really really GREAT NEWS !!!! My uncle suddenly decided that he hasn’t seen his sister for a very long time and it would be better off if my dad and mum just simply returned home, permanently, and thus has set the wheels of transfer into motion…Best part, it was accepted!! Not immediately, but in the month of May, 2008, my dad will receive his transfer. It’s been granted !! They’ll be back before, or exactly when, I complete my engineering!!
WOOHOOO!!!!!
And with that excitement in mind, and dire warnings that I needed to be terribly vigilant (in preparing) for the exams I sat down and attacked the books. All the books I haven’t even touched since the day I bought them four months ago !! But it’s okay. I’m fine with it. It’s going on pretty well. Or at least was. Till yesterday evening when I realized that my nasal canal had gone dry. An indication, I know to be, of an approaching cold/flu. The inflamed throat, running nose, watery eyes, sluggishness, headache, and fever. Demented?? No. Not at all. In a year I fall ill three times, i.e. I get a cold/flu three times. Exactly three times. Not more not less. And December happens to be the last time in that year I would fall sick. It starts off with the sneezing then the dry, itchy sensation in my nasal canal, and I know it’s time I started drinking lots of fluids, and warm water. Sometimes I would be able to get away with just sneezing for two days, but sometimes I’m down for a week. I manage to do my work fine, but it’s that sensation in the tongue, of not being able to taste anything, or rather that bland taste you get, that gets to me.
Well whatever !! I’ve got my second wisdom tooth growing now !!! Can just feel the tip of it jutting out of my gums, but it’s growing
and much to the chagrin of M and I, I am once again obsessed (like I was five years ago) with the French Manicure..tehehehe. It looks really cool and I did it by myself. Very cute
Ah well. Time for some warm honey in water
Ciao.

Study holidays have begun and amazingly so has the studying. It’s really fortunate that I have found my senses and kept my wits about me this time thus I was able to put my foot down and begin the studying quiet early. I’m happy and I only hope that it pays off.
