I never thought of this song much actually. I still don’t think much of it. But the words are, I must admit, rather captivating in a very simple, magical manner.
I heard the song a very long time ago actually, didn’t realize until last week that it was the Nat King Cole version, because I began to sing the song a lot after I heard it in Moulin Rouge, the movie. I just assumed it was a David Bowie original that even Celine Dion sang… Anyway, there isn’t much about the song that appeals to me, except that I think when I sing this song, it brings out the true essence of my voice. I really think it does.
Blake didn’t win… 
I’m sad. I was rooting for Blake all through. Damn. Jordin was good, I guess. I didn’t watch many of her performances, but Blake. The poor kid. He was good.
And David Beckham has been recalled to the England National Team – Hot news for my cousin who is a Beckham fanatic, through baldness and dreadlocks. He’s an real good player. That awesome half-line shot…Sigh… Splendid, I tell you. That is called class. Real class.
Oh oh oh…I got a new suit !!!! It’s light grey, with a belt for the coat and I found a perfect light blue shirt to go with it. I look great in it !! [Thank you, thank you very much !!]
I didn’t want to appear in the same black, brown or cream suit for the function at college morrow, for which, by the by, I am the master of ceremonies. So I told my uncle and my aunt and I went yesterday and got it. It’s perfect. Looks a bit dull just like that but feels like heaven when I wear it. I look like a business woman. Unarguably formal. I love it !!
I need to find some new wallpapers of my favorite people for my desktop. Getting bored with the same screen, so nighty-night soldiers !!
