The weeks seem to be dragging these days and yet they seem to disappear so quickly as the new Monday sets on. Well, with the pending threat of our results to be announced on Sunday, that is the day after tomorrow, my heart skips a few beats in anticipation and that last minute hint of terror as my mind calculates and assures me that I have done better this time than last, so with a margin of maybe one percent in marks, I will have what I had before; this type of assurance is vital especially when I’m supposed to be readying myself for the first round of companies coming in for recruitment in the first week of April. Yeah, yeah, the pressure mounts.
First, the results, then the first round of assessment tests, then the preparation of the draft of the magazine, then the interview. If I get selected in the first round itself then I will be free to scream and yell in exhiliration and sit down to prepare for my GRE.
But for now, I await my results. I know I’ve done well this time. It’s enough. Besides, I have a good aggregate, just need to give it a consistency, which I’m sure I shall obtain this time.
